Last Saturday night, I had the pleasure of samplin Last Saturday night, I had the pleasure of sampling the new menu at Maya Mexican Restaurant, Cebu’s go-to spot for traditional SoCal-style Mexican cuisine and tequila delights. 🌮 The revamped menu, which was launched to celebrate their 15th anniversary, now features smaller plates, perfect for sharing with friends. Some standouts were the Chorizo & Potato Empanada, the crispy Taquitos, and my absolute favorite—the Seafood Ceviche, packed with scallops and shrimp marinated in citrus and chili. 🍤 Then came the tender Costillas, juicy Maya Hot Wings, and sizzling Fajitas with all the fixings. We also enjoyed Vientre de Puerco (roasted crispy pork belly) fajitas, tacos, and loaded nachos. ⁣ ⁣ But the night didn’t stop there. We also experienced a bar takeover by Bar by East, a renowned cocktail bar from Marikina City. Their head bartender Wendell Almenario and co-founder Rian Asiddao wowed us with sensational cocktails, each showcasing unique elements inspired by Marikina. My top pick?
