Binibining Cebu 2019 unfolds

Three’s a charm as Binibining Cebu 2019 officially began today at the press presentation earlier at SM Seaside City Cebu. The 3rd Binibining Cebu promises a bigger and more exciting spectacle with the ultimate purpose of tourism and being of service to others.

Here are the 54 candidates who are vying for one of five crowns in the biggest pageant in the Philippines, Binibining Cebu:

The Organizing Team

Founded by the SHS-B Batch 1985 Foundation, Inc. and Bb. Sugbu Charity Foundation, Inc., Binibining Cebu has proven to be a platform for today’s young women from all walks of life to express their social issues, talents, and unique cultural heritage.

This year will see a few new personalities who will elevate the pageant to even greater heights. Overall director is Ahwel Paz, a multi awarded ABS-CBN producer and director, who has staged several pageants and international shows. He will work with celebrated choreographer and production manager Val Sandiego, the man behind the award-winning Sandiego Dance Company. Stage design and creative direction will still be by international designer Kenneth Cobonpue, while Cary Santiago will oversee the complete fashion and wardrobe styling.

Jojo Bragais, a name synonymous to the nude platform pageant heels, which have been the official shoes of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant since 2015, will provide the girls’ footwear. He has dressed the feet of amazing women such as Catriona Gray, Maxine Medina, and Rachel Peters, among others. Official accessories and jewelry are by Christopher Munar, who is no stranger to Binibining Pilipinas and various beauty queens and celebrities. PauLina by Mikee Andrei, who is the official resort wear for Miss World Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas, and other national pageants, will provide the candidates’ swimwear.

Coronation Night

The Binibining Cebu 2019 Coronation Night will be on Friday, November 15, 2019, 6pm at the Pacific Grand Ballroom, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

Also not to be missed is the Swimwear and Long Gown Competition on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, 6pm at Mandani Bay. Meanwhile, the candidates will have their closed-door on November 10.
