A Fun and Musical Run for All
The Evo City Front Act Run attracted a total of 1,759 registrants, both new and seasoned runners, competing across three distances—half marathon, 10km, and 5km. Participants were rewarded with event shirts, finisher medals, and an array of freebies from the event’s sponsors. To keep the energy high, the course was infused with lively music to motivate runners every step of the way. The event featured DJ Marc Marasigan with his electronic beats, while Nikko Huelgas led the pack at the starting line.
Preparation for Rock ‘n’ Roll Manila 2024
As a pre-event for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Manila 2024, the Evo City Front Act Run provided long-distance runners with an opportunity to assess their training progress. More importantly, it fostered a sense of community, offering beginners, families, and casual runners a chance to participate in a relaxed, fun environment.
Princess Galura, General Manager of The IRONMAN Group Philippines, emphasized the inclusive nature of the event: “The passion and dedication of the running community inspired us to create an accessible event that showcases the three pillars of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series—running, music, and community. We wanted to make this event welcoming, especially for new runners and families.”
A Community-Driven Event
Backed by Evo City as the title sponsor, the event was supported by partners like 2Go, Ion Advance Electrolyte Drink, Lightwater, and Sante. Marketing partners included Century Tuna and Gardenia, with media partners such as Manila Bulletin, Tempo, One Sports+, and Cignal helping to spread the word.
