Mariana Zobel de Ayala, the former head of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Consumer Bank Marketing and Digital Platforms and now head of Ayala Malls Leasing and Hospitality, recently visited a BPI partner store, Prince Stores Gun-ob in Lapu-Lapu, Cebu. This visit underscores the Ayala Group’s dedication to advancing financial inclusion through innovative partnerships and accessible banking solutions.

Mariana Zobel de Ayala experiences the convenience of BPI’s newest deposit and withdrawal services at Prince Stores, highlighting the partnership’s commitment to bringing accessible banking closer to communities.

The collaboration between Ayala Corporation and BPI aims to bridge gaps in financial services by working with trusted retail networks like Prince Stores. These partnerships enable underserved communities to seamlessly access essential banking services.

“Ayala Group remains steadfast in fostering inclusivity across industries we operate in. BPI exemplifies this mission by establishing innovative partnerships, such as with Prince Stores, to deliver exceptional banking services to all Filipinos, wherever they are,” said Zobel de Ayala.

Through its Agency Banking segment, BPI has partnered with Prince Stores to serve as a cash agent, allowing customers to apply for BPI products, as well as deposit and withdraw cash at store locations. This integration of banking services into the shopping experience offers greater convenience, especially for customers in underserved areas.

To further engage customers, BPI and Prince Stores launched the on-going “Naay BPI Diri” (“May BPI Dito”) raffle promo. Customers who use BPI services at Prince Stores stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including three Yamaha NMAX motorcycles and in-store shopping sprees worth PHP 50,000 each.

Ayala Group and BPI remain committed to forging impactful partnerships and creating innovative solutions that make banking accessible to every Filipino, driving a future of greater financial inclusion.
