The #WeGotYourVac Immunization Program of the group of companies chaired by business leader Manuel V Pangilinan ramped up its regional rollout with a two-day inoculation activity for PLDT and Smart employees, dependents, and affiliates residing in Cebu Province.
This initiative for the conglomerate’s 60,000-strong workforce is spearheaded by a cross-functional MVP Group Vaccine Task Force. Vaccinations for non-medical employees launched in the first week of July followed Q1 2021 vaccinations for medical frontliners from the Group’s own Metro Pacific Hospitals. The team is looking at a nationwide network of over 30 vaccination sites comprised of regional MVP Group, other Group-wide facilities, and selected malls across the country.

“Our vaccinees, through the essential services we offer groupwide – from hospitals, telecommunications and digital services, electricity, water, tollways and road infrastructure, media, and more — have been and will continue to be the key source of stability as the Philippines emerges from this global crisis,” MVP Group Chairman Manuel V Pangilinan previously said.
“This vaccination program would greatly help us in our efforts of protecting ourselves against COVID-19. I am thankful that this has reached the provinces to protect more employees amid the renewed community restrictions,” said Marlen Granada, Building Maintenance Engineer, PLDT Visayas Facility Management.
