The new Metro Ayala rises from the ashes and emerges like a phoenix, making a grand comeback as The Metro Stores’ flagship store formally reopens this Friday, January 29.

Still with the same Cebuano warmth, the new Metro Ayala is eco-friendly, brighter and sports a clean and modern aesthetic, for an elevated shopping experience. Now, the various quality merchandise are presented much better.

Aside from the consistency of the interiors, I was particularly impressed by the grand entrance. It provided a wonderful sense of arrival, a hint of the retail adventure that awaits. (Hint: It’s prettier at night)
Level 7 – Food Avenue, Activity Center, Credit and Collection
The Food Avenue on the 7th level is the crowning jewel of Metro Ayala. It reminded me so much of “Kopitiam”s in Singapore. Metro Ayala has definitely come a long way. But it still remains our favorite department store since it opened in 1994.
